Main Menu
The user-interface consists of 3 main sections. The main menu provides all options relating
to settings that modify reports, compilations, database connectivity and other output options.
The direct access section presents a listing of all reports belonging to specific compilations or
not belonging to any compilation. The various output format links generate immediate report output
in realtime. The 3rd section is provided to select and enable the currently active database for
report definitions using the visual report query builder.

Administration
Setup the parameters for database connectivity from which report queries
will extract data. Other options include the selection of databases to allow
access from UNIGEN, custom query builder header/footer messages, explicit
referential integrity linking for databases that do not define key constraints,
field aliases and selections for hiding tables from the report query builder.

Visual Query Builder
This is the visual report building tool. It enables you to select data directly from
the currently active database using drop-down menus, and to select various criteria,
result groupings, and aggregate functions. The dense layout is simple to use and
cannot be simpler for the attainable complex results. A report can be created
as simply as selecting the data you need from the first column of drop-down menus.
More elaborate filtering requires use of the other options. One row or more defines
a single piece of information retrieval such as a person's age within a certain range.

Compilations
This is the highest level of hierarchical report organization. Compilations are a grouping
of reports that make it possible to combine multiple reports into a single presentation of textual
and/or graph output from various reports. A report may belong to a collection of reports called
a compilation, or it may belong to the "General Reports" category of belonging to no compilation.
Compilations generally contain reports that collectively convey accurate meaning.

Output Attributes
The advanced output attributes specify data placement within a report and
modify attributes of rows and columns of information. This includes the field of
separation for a report and enables multiple report records to interweave with
each other whenever a value within the specified field for separation changes. A
useful feature when consistently interweaving separate information into one
continuous listing.

Conditional Formatting Styles
Modify the output format styles associated with fields according to specific criteria. Conditions can be simple or
complex containing group-by-precedence, conjunctions, various field-value references and valid PHP code/function calls for comparison.
Generate reports containing color coded data for enhanced depictions of tabular reports. Quick and easy interpretation
of crucial changes in data alert you immediately.
