The cross browser compatible drag and drop photo gallery enables interactive photo viewing on Web pages with detailed content for each image.
Customize the content and appearance of each thumbnail's detailed window with plain HTML and embedded media. Drag and drop
gallery objects and arrange them in a cascade, tile or according to relevancy for comparison. No other gallery
lets you rearrange and compare a vast quantity of objects so effectively. Apply a variety of bundled skins to any window object or create
your own. Includes gallery image preloader, which loads all images into the cache for improved performance.
AJAX support is included in the ddobj package, which enables loading of window content such as an enlarged photo and description
from an external file (text, HTML, dynamic scripts, etc.) residing on the Web server. Integration is simple and requires copy/paste
tasks based on the example gallery page included. Basic HTML knowledge is recommended to copy/paste the javascript file inclusion of
the drag and drop script. The gallery is powered strictly by DHTML, which encompasses CSS, javascript and HTML; all of which are
provided in the example pages with ddobj.
There are a vast number of window properties that may be modified; some of which include transparency, static or dynamic dimensions,
timers and delays, and event triggers (element onmouseover, onclicks, onload, etc.). The CSS and HTML components may be modified for
custom defined content and styles applicable to drag and drop objects that assemble the gallery. Flash, SVG (scalable vector graphics),
movie and other objects may be embedded into the objects using plain HTML for the <object> or <embed> elements
(using transparency), as is fully defined and provided in the ddobj archive example pages.
