The drag and drop calendar is a DHTML product that provides cross-browser compatible date and time picker interface components.
ddcal is dependent on ddobj, which is the framework for drag and drop objects and is bundled with the ddcal package. ddcal
enables "skinned" calendars that are interactively manipulated, and may contain custom HTML header and/or footer
content encompassing the calendar. The ddcal widget is an application of ddobj, and inherits properties of the drag and drop
objects. AJAX support and custom extended functionality may be developed through the use of prototype functions for various
date and time events such as the onclick, mouseover and mouseout events.
ddcal includes a wizard GUI for generating custom calendars instantly. The drag and drop calendar library (ddcal) is
provided in its original, unaltered javascript language code (not obfuscated). It is an open source product.

The easy to use wizard features an interface for selection of all the common date and time options. Choose from various skins and
CSS themes for quick calendar generation into your Web pages. Select multiple months, date and time input and output formats, languages,
weekday and weekend properties, time properties (disable seconds/minutes, enable/disable 24 hour clock), date events (onclick, onmouseover, onmouseout handling
to hyperlink to another Web page or display information), drag and drop properties such as calendar transparency, and a lot more. Find out what calendar-specific
properties are featured in the wizard and available for parameter passing through javascript code.

ddcal offers three empty, customizable prototype functions for the calendar onclick, onmouseover and onmouseout events on each active date's cell.
These prototypes allow for quick implementations of extended calendar functionality, and with great ease. Don't reinvent the wheel. Open source
ddcal and documented API enables quick custom additions to your calendar. The following example page is one of many bundled with ddcal.
