York University is Canada's 3rd largest university and has been expanding their technology at a higher rate than ever before. The Faculty of Arts has been using UNIGEN since its early beta stages for their report compilations on the Computing and Academic Equipment Plan System. An online requisition system for faculty/staff computer and equipment renewals.

UNIGEN has enabled the creation and monitoring of organized reports, and has provided graphing, data analysis and hardcopy print-out capabilities to administrators with little or no intervention by developers. Open source code has made it possible for internal IT staff to modify and implement additional features should the need to do so ever arise.
